Shipping Carrier:

We ship all our orders via UPS or USPS. We reserve the right to determine the best method. We offer standard and expedited shipping. If a particular method is required for your shipping address, then you must notify us via phone and additional fees may apply.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii:

You may place an order online for the Continental U.S. If you would like to ship to Alaska or Hawaii, please call to place your order and to get a shipping rate for your destination.

Cut Off Times for Orders:

Days in transit are based on orders being placed by 1 pm EST Monday – Friday excluding holidays. Days in transit are business days only and do not include holidays. All deliveries will be made within the number of days stated and specific dates cannot be guaranteed, only estimated. Please be sure that you have allowed enough time for your package to arrive by the desired date. Also, you cannot include weekends, holidays or the actual shipment day when determining the number of days it will take for your gift to arrive.

Order Times for Holidays:

Due to the abundance of holiday orders from November 15th through December 24th, orders must be placed at least 3 business days in advance to assure on time delivery. For orders over 10 items during this period, orders must be placed at a minimum of 5 business days ahead.

Requested Delivery Dates:

Your order will always be shipped from our store to arrive within the stated transit days for standard or expedited shipping. If you need to request a specific delivery date, you may contact us for further details and additional fees may apply. Although rare, we do not accept responsibility for the shipping carrier failing to deliver the package according to their guaranteed number of days. UPS nor USPS guarantee a time of delivery. To ensure your package arrives before a specified time, you must ship via UPS Next Day Air or Second Day Air am and additional fees will apply. You must contact us at 1-866-845-9229 to schedule this type of service.

Package Tracking:

At any time after you’ve placed your order you can login to your account and check the status of your order. If you used our Guest Checkout option you will receive an email with a special password to login and view the status of your order. Once your order has shipped, you will receive two emails. The first is a confirmation email from Cornerstone notifying you that your order has been completed. The second is your “UPS Quantum View” email containing all of your order tracking information. Follow the link in that email to track the status of your package.

Address Correction Charge:

Based on the delivery information given by the ordering customer, if the shipping carrier is unable to deliver any package due to an incorrect or incomplete address (examples include, but are not limited to, missing suite, apartment, or unit numbers, old addresses, and missing/incorrect ZIP Codes), they will either return the package or may try to determine and make reasonable efforts to secure the correct or complete address. If the correct or complete address is secured, the shipping carrier will attempt delivery. An additional charge of $12 will be assessed to your credit card for an address correction fee. We reserve the right to pass along any additional charges from the shipping carrier to the ordering customer resulting from incomplete or incorrect delivery information given by the ordering customer.

Signature for Packages:

Residential addresses typically do not require a signature. HOWEVER, if there is no one there to accept the package, and the driver does not feel comfortable leaving it for ANY reason, s/he is required NOT to leave the package.

Business addresses sometimes may require a signature, but not necessarily from the recipient whose name is on the box. Anyone in the building is able to sign for the package. Please note that once delivered, it becomes the responsibility of the company to deliver the package to the recipient.

Undeliverable Packages:

Any package that is unable to be delivered due to incorrect information, untimely pick-up by recipient or recipient no longer at address, which is then returned to Cornerstone Cookie Gifts, will not be refunded and will only by re-shipped at customers request and cost.

International and APO Shipping:

We can only ship to Canada and Mexico. In most cases, we can ship to APO addresses. Please CALL to place an order for international or APO shipments. Please note that your gift will be shipped via USPS and CANNOT be placed online.

For Hospital Deliveries:

You must specify a room number. We are not responsible for gifts once they arrive at the hospital loading dock. It is solely the responsibility of the hospital to arrange delivery to a specific room.

For Hotel Deliveries:

You must specify a room number as well as provide the hotel phone number. We are not responsible for gifts after they arrive to the hotel. It is solely the responsibility of the hotel to get the package to the hotel guest.

For College Dorm Deliveries:

Additional information may be required if so a customer service representative will call you.  Please note that many colleges have a central mail facility for students.  Packages may arrive at this location and then it is the responsibility of the mail facility and student to obtain the package.  Please note, local Atlanta hand delivery of packages  to dorms is not accepted.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax applies to any shipments or deliveries made in the state of Georgia. Call for latest tax rate.

Local Atlanta Cake Delivery:

Local delivery is available in the Metropolitan Atlanta area for cake deliveries. Standard deliveries are made by 1:00 pm EST Mon- Fri. There is a standard delivery rate within our local delivery area. Please call for current pricing and to determine if you are within our local standard delivery area. We also offer a more extensive delivery range for cakes via courier based on destination zip code. Specific delivery times can not be arranged. We reserve the right to ship cookie and brownie orders within our local delivery area. In most cases, orders must be placed by 12:00 pm EST for local delivery orders to go out the following delivery day.  Please refer to the terms and conditions for all cakes, cupcakes and cookie cakes.
